hmm....

Its been a long time since i posted, and i know some people who are angry about that. But i really couldn't have helped it. The rule about blogging i stated a long time back still holds true..... when stuff worth writing about happens in my life, i dont have the time to blog about it. Since the last post, i have been on an eventful trip down south....to Manipal, and my first time in Karnataka. The place is beautiful, and vibrant as a majority of its populace are young students from all over India. The event was TAPMI's annual B-School Fest, Atharva '05 and we managed to win a couple of prizes, a 1st in 'Global Investor' an investment simulation game, and 2nd in 'Markatti', a Marketing negotiations game. The Event was very well managed by the TAPMI dudes, but the highlight of the 4 days we spent in the town was the QUIZ ON THE BEACH, a great concept which i think will catch on soon. We went to Kaup (pronounced as 'kaapu' ) beach and it is one of the most beautiful beaches i have seen. White sand, a lot of surf and a great quiz. doesnt quite gel, but that evening it did.

we've gotten over with most of the lectures for all subjects and another 5 days to go before final exams for this trimester start. I have gotten used to spending christmas eve and new year's in the midst of books.

Then there was the Marketing presentation on Branding and Product mix and i did it on Honda Cars and the Honda City in particular. The case i took up was that of the repositioning of the CITY brand and we really did work hard on it and i guess it showed when we presented the case. have a look.
